The coolest gym in Tokyo 2024

In recent years, many gyms have opened in Tokyo. There are, however, not many gyms with great style in a great location. If you are staying in Tokyo and want to enjoy the best equipment in style, and in a convenient and trendy shopping district, Lyft Gym stands out. This new and great gym opened in 2023 has everything to make your workout the coolest experience in Tokyo !

Firstly this gym is located in the trendy popular shopping district, Harajyuku / Omotesando. You will find many international brand shops and nice cafes / restaurants in this area. Also, this area is in the middle of Tokyo in a convenient location for tourists as there are 3 train stations nearby. It is very popular to walk around in this area between Harajyuku station and Omotesando station. This gym is located in a new shopping complex, Omotesando Hills (B3F in the building). If you want to enjoy shopping or a nice cafe after your workout on holiday in Tokyo, this gym is a great choice !

And most importantly for fitness travelers, this gym has 50 great machines and equipment. They are all professional level machines for athletes. Free weights are also available up to 58 kg dumbbells (Rare in Japan). Most gyms in Tokyo are small but this gym is very spacious with high ceilings. Lockers & shower rooms are like a hotel !

This gym was created with international fitness lovers in mind. Many gyms in Japan do not accept tatoos (you must hide it during your workout) but this gym is ok with tatoos (Again, rare in Japan !). Also there is an English speaker if you need any assistance.

I went to this gym on Monday morning and found there were not many people (good for me) but I felt a buzz and I could easily imagine this gym would be very popular with trendy people in later afternoon. All staff were very friendly, and many gym members were wearing their Lyft gym clothes (they sell cool gym clothes online)

I have been to many gyms in Tokyo and I think this gym would be the coolest gym in Tokyo ! And I could enjoy great shopping and dining after my workout.

Only downside is they sell only Weekly pass at JPY22,000 (about USD220) per week. So if you go there once or twice during your stay, it can be a bit pricy but if you are an avid fitness traveler and go to the gym every day, then the daily cost would be on par with the day pass in other gyms in Tokyo.
