Gyms for tourists in Narita Airport 2026

Narita International Airport is located well outside central Tokyo, with travel times of about 90 minutes by airport limousine bus or 60 minutes by express train. Because of the distance, many travelers choose to stay near the airport before an early flight or after a late arrival.

Several airport hotels with fitness facilities are available around Narita. However, most are located away from shops, restaurants, and attractions, so they typically provide complimentary shuttle services to and from the airport terminals.

Fitness travelers should note that hotel gyms may be restricted to guests or require an additional fee (even hotel guests). If you are not staying at an airport hotel, there is only one conveniently located local gym offering day-pass access.

Anytime Fitness Narita Airport: Anytime Fitness is normally for members only but this gym sells a day pass to all travelers at JPY2,000 per visit (Cash only). There is a free shuttle bus from the 2nd and 3rd terminals, going to a hot spring bath facility nearby called “Sora no yu” which is 24hrs open and costs about JPY1,500 per visit and Anytime Fitness is located in the same building.

Recommendation: If you want to have a decent workout before flying out, it would be better to do so before going to Narita Airport (while you are still staying in Tokyo or somewhere). Or if you have 3-4hrs of free time at the airport for transit etc… then going to Anytime Fitness Narita Airport and taking a hot spring bath after that is a great idea !
