Gyms for tourists in Shibuya 2024

Tokyo >> Shibuya

Shibuya / Harajyuku area is one of the most popular areas for shopping and young culture in Tokyo. For fitness travelers, there are 8 gyms selling a day pass to travelers and there are many reasonable hotels in this area. So it is better to stay at the hotel nearby those gyms rather than staying expensive hotels with gym (small gym rooms). See my recommendations below the map.

It is a bit expensive but facilities are good and this manga gym is available only in Japan ! If you want to enjoy your workout in cool style in the trendy and popular district of Harajuku/Omotesando, Lyft gym is the coolest gym in Tokyo in a trendy district with great facilities (Weekly pass only).

In this area my recommendation goes to Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu . This 4-star hotel is super convenient in front of Shibuya station. You might be able to see the famous Shibuya crossing from some of rooms. You can also walk to Gold’s Gym Shibuya in 7 min. Check out the review and price from here.

Another good option for fitness travelers is all day place shibuya. This new and stylish business hotel has good cafe and pizza shops within the same building and more importantly you can walk to Gold’s Gym Shibuya in 1 min !

Although Shibuya is a very popular place to visit, there are not many hotels in this area. Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel is the only hotel with a good gym. This is 5-star hotel, but the price is not as high as other 5-star hotels in Tokyo (Good value). Check out the review and price from here.

If you are ok with cardio only or light exercise, Hotel Indigo Tokyo would be a good option. This new stylish hotel in the middle of Shibuya has a small fitness room.
